Gaimz Development

So as I said before, I have a shiny bit of paper on my wall that says I'm a games developer. Once or twice I've dusted it down and made some use out of it.

Elwin's Elixer Emporium (Jan 2020)

w/ Amanda Foster, Dan Fox, Yuuki Due and Zach Jones

48 hour Game Jam project with the theme of "an unwinnable war". A potion preparation game where the premise was inspired by food preparation games such as Cooking Craze and Cooking City, as well as an under-lying political narrative inspired by Papers, Please.

Made in Unity.

Roles in the project:
Myself - Timed asset generation, initial item inventory, core item creation mechanic, secondary player animation and music integration including triggers.
Dan and Yuuki - Lead programmers; handled game interactions, advanced inventory system, world design, overall core gameplay. Dan - instagram.com/beyondapollogame/ Yuuki - instagram.com/rivermouthgames/

Improvements:
- Stream-line/tidy up hit boxes.
- Establish political narrative for long-term play.
- Advanced animations.
